Howdy gang,
Apologies for the lack of a booklist last week. I was out in LA and didn't have proper access to east coast internet. No, don't think about it too hard. Just trust me. I am hoping to have a proper write up of the 2025 ComicsPRO meeting in the next week or so. It was an INCREDIBLE time and for any of you who want to know how the sausage gets made a fascinating peek behind the curtain.
We have now been in our new space at 9209 Midlothian Turnpike in the Arch Villiage shopping center for a month. In that month we had 2 snow storms, our phone didn't work for almost two weeks and Google told people we were permanently closed for the same amount of time. Our fancy new sign is currently being manufactured and hopefully I'll have a good timeline on when that will be up soon. Other than those hiccups (and me being on the other side of the country for a week) our new spot is incredible! Steve and I did a lot of the heavy lifting but the layout and design of the store were ALL Alex and Tess. I think it may be the best looking comic shop I've ever been in and I have been in a LOT of comic book shops!
For any of you like me this current trend of AMAZING comics based on the properties we loved as kids has been a dream come true. No matter if you are loving Thundercats or Space Ghost or really digging the new Disney line this week has something to hit all the nostalgia buttons! I am most excited about the return of Herculoids!

Dynamite has been killing it will all of these liscenced books and I can't wait ot read what they are doing with Shmoo! Monthly catalogs have always been the backbone of ANY retail business. Even moreso for one like comics where we really rely on preorders to figure out how many extra copies we should order. Everyone has a digital version of their catalogs so I am going to start linking them in the booklist every week. Diamond does not offer a free online version of their catalog at this time.
